Bull Moose Jackson
Bull Moose’s original recordings were released on 78rpm records in the 1940s and early 1950s. You can still find some of these 78s for sale online. Over the years there have been numerous vinyl and CD compilations of these old tunes… some authorized by King, his original label, and some un-authorized. Between 1983 and 1986 Bull Moose teamed up with The Flashcats to write and record brand new songs, along with new remakes of a few of his classic tunes. These 1983-86 recordings are available through Bogus Records. Just click on the button at the top or bottom of this page.

Final Recordings CD
In 1985 Bull Moose appeared at New York’s Carnegie Hall and toured Europe. He was thrilled to be back in the public eye, and he loved talking to fans from the old days as well as an entire new generation of fans. In 1986 work was begun on a follow-up to Moosemania! but Bull Moose’s health took a turn for the worse, and only two songs were recorded for the new LP. Although he chose to ignore it, Bull Moose had been suffering with cancer for years, and he eventually became too weak to perform or record. This CD features the original 45, “Get Off The Table, Mable (The Two Dollars Is For The Beer),” all of the songs from Moosemania! plus the final two songs ever recorded by Bull Moose Jackson.
